CES IS NUT Free

This is a friendly but crucial reminder about our school's nut-free policy. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all our students and staff, some of whom have severe, life-threatening allergies to nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts).

Even trace amounts of nuts can trigger serious reactions, leading to anaphylaxis, which is a medical emergency. Therefore, we kindly ask for your full cooperation in ensuring that:

  • All food brought into the school is completely nut-free. This includes snacks, lunches, and any items brought for classroom celebrations or events.
  • Avoid sending in homemade baked goods or snacks unless you can guarantee they are prepared in a completely nut-free environment.
  • Discuss the importance of our nut-free policy with your children. Help them understand the seriousness of nut allergies and the need to respect this policy.
  • Please reinforce hand washing before children come to school, especially after eating breakfast, so that no nut residue is brought into the school.

Your vigilance and cooperation are essential in maintaining a safe environment for everyone. We understand this requires extra effort, and we sincerely appreciate your support.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our nut-free policy, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your understanding and commitment to the safety and well-being of our school community.
